Yes, GreyCatte's Book of Style has turned five on 23rd February. Just saying - after all, we're not here for a stroll down memory lane, listing momentous Februaries or browsing throwback blog pics, tempting though it may be.
The key thing is, at least in my life, February is to be approached with the right amount of wariness and hope, ready for anything. With this month's outfits, the aim was to look proper and smart but feel relaxed and comfortable while subtly blending in or sticking out as needed.
Enter my current favourite silky utility shirts, some new pairs of clean dark jeans, sharp blazers, khaki tones, check prints, with military detailing and ripped acid wash denim thrown in for good measure. Normally, I feel messier than I look in the pictures but this February there were moments when I actually managed some real sleekness.
Hope you enjoy it - find my live feeds on Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, and selected looks on Lookbook.
